About me

Product Designer, based in Paris.

I'm Sarah, a Product Designer with 5 years of experience. At Mobsuccess I'm the only designer on my team: I cut drop-off on the core flow by 28% and shipped an AI assistant to every user, validating each use case with real users. Before that, five client products at an agency and a consumer iOS app. Next, I want to design apps people use in their everyday lives, full-time.

How I use AI

How AI fits into my everyday work:

Making sense of research

I use Claude to sort through interview notes faster, so I spend my time on what they mean.

Prototyping

When a static mockup can't show how something feels, I build a quick working prototype in code.

Writing

I draft interface copy and cut it down until every line is clear and short.

A second opinion

I ask it to challenge my design choices before I show them to the team.

"If a design needs explaining, it isn't done yet."

    Mobsuccess Group

    Now

    Product Designer · Full-time · Hybrid

    Sept 2024 — today

ContextOnly designer on my team · 8 engineers · 1 PM · a platform media and data teams use every day

I'm the only designer on my team, so I own design from start to finish: talking to users, designing the flows and screens, and working with front-end and back-end developers until they ship.

    • Cut drop-off on the core flow by 28% after a redesign based on user research.
    • Shipped an AI assistant to every user, validating each use case with real users.
    • Built the design system from the ground up and led the app's new branding direction.
    • Led discovery workshops with the ad operations and product teams to scope DecisionTrail, a new module that keeps a history of changes to settings, from framing the problem to the first flows.
    • Ran user interviews and usability tests with ad operations users all through DecisionTrail's design, and fed what I learned straight back into the design.
    • Ran A/B tests and tracked usage with Jimo and Screeb to decide what to improve first.
    • Work with developers every day, from handoff until it's built, and with the PM to turn business needs into clear flows.

Designed web products for KIRRK, GRDF, Sirius, My Data Partner and Zupdeco, one client at a time: from new products built from scratch to new features for growing software companies.

    • Ran discovery and ideation workshops with each client's team, so everyone agreed on the direction before design started.
    • Ran competitor research and stakeholder interviews to back design decisions on every project.
    • Presented my work and the reasoning behind it to clients and leadership at every milestone.
    • Built and maintained Tobogan's Figma design system, with a Storybook library for developers.
    • Designed Tobogan's new agency website.
